Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well and staying healthy. As I prepare this message for the Research Innovation Division (RID) at the Higher Education Commission (HEC), I’ve been reflecting on our journey so far. It's not just about what we’ve done, but also about the shared path that has brought us to this point. A detailed version of our story has been sent to the RID, which highlights our shared progress and achievements.

Since we started in 2006, we have faced many challenges, especially when trying to adapt global solutions like PeopleSoft, SAP, and MS Dynamics to our local needs. These challenges included high costs, complex systems, and the difficulty of finding local technical support. It was during these tough times that leadership played a key role in guiding us towards innovation and self-sufficiency. We are especially grateful to Prof. Abdul Aziz Khan Niazi (Qurtuba Education System), Dr. Nasser Ali Khan (Institute of Management Sciences), who created a industry solution that met our specific needs and worked within the global ERP framework i.e odoo.

From 2016 to 2019, we grew even further, tackling complex issues like accreditation, standardization, and the need for automation in an ever-changing world. We also worked with companies like The Resource Group (TRG) in Lahore, learning about the unique financial models needed for Pakistan’s universities. During this time, the guidance of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Moud and Prof. Dr. Waqar Mahmood helped us overcome the struggles we faced in 2006. Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid visionary leadership helped us implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which improved our systems and guided us through the challenges of commercializing in the public sector. This effort led to the successful launch of Campus Solution 360 under Prof. Dr. Mansoor Sarwar leadership, moving us closer to a sustainable future.

The year 2020 was a turning point for us, starting with a request from Dr. Nasir Mahmood Khan, Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid, Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmad, and Prof Dr. Waqar Mahmood to fully automate the accreditation process. This not only improved Campus Solution 360 to meet the standards of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the Washington Accord, but also set the stage for an ERP system that could support the future of education and technology in Pakistan.

Today, the integration of Solution with various service providers, including major banks like HBL, UBL, ABL, the KOHA Library System, attendance services, and streaming platforms like Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, and Jitsi, as well as synchronization with Google Classroom, shows how far we have come in transforming from the initial challenges to a fully integrated and synchronized system.

This journey, made possible by your ongoing support, has been extraordinary. It shows the power of leadership and teamwork in driving innovation in Pakistan. Though we faced many obstacles, each one was a learning opportunity that made us stronger and clearer in our mission. As we look ahead, I am excited about the impact our work will continue to have on education in Pakistan.
